REPS Center participated in the 2026 National Safety Summit. USDOT University Transportation Centers on Safety, hosted by Safety21, to share cutting‑edge transportation safety research and education initiatives alongside partner UTCs from across the country.
During a featured panel, REPS Director Claudia Marin joined fellow national leaders to discuss how university research, spanning transportation safety, railway, and emerging automated and connected mobility systems, can be translated into real‑world technologies, policies, and workforce development strategies that save lives and enhance safety for all transportation users.
